We love our  own backyard!

After years travelling and living overseas it’s great to be home enjoying the wonders of our incredible coastline. Founder Katy’s love for this region grew from  holidays there as a child and continued as an adult taking many trips from Anglesea where her parents live. She now loves to explore the towns, beaches, rainforests and waterfalls of the Surf Coast, Otways and Shipwreck Coast with her children and husband.

These days it’s Katy’s mission to seek out the best experiences and places to stay along the Great Ocean Road and share them with our readers and followers. You can find her waiting for a beachside coffee at Point Roadknight, chasing waterfalls near Lorne, learning about our indigenous history and admiring the natural landscapes of the Shipwreck Coast. Not to mention tracking down the region’s best food, wine and coffee!
